Meet Anne
Anne was born in Austin, Texas but raised in Nacogdoches which is found in the region known as East Texas. She has also lived in Michigan, Scotland, California, and New York and is in the process of moving to Torino, Italy.
Anne is a citizen of both the United States and Italy and has decided the time is right to resettle in the European Union.
Anne is a native English speaker, but her Italian is quite limited. She has some proficiency in French and Spanish. Anne is of course willing to work through professional translators with legal teams in any European country regardless of language.
Education and Professional Experience
Anne’s legal education included a mix of civil law tradition and common law starting with her studies in Scotland, a mixed jurisdiction, continuing on with her studies in Texas, a common law jurisdiction, and then in Mexico a civil law jurisdiction.
She received her LL.B. in Scots Law at the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen Scotland. She also spent a year studying American law at St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas and completed the Guanajuato Summer Law Institute Program in Guanajuato, Mexico through the University of New Mexico.
